Terroir

The area of Conegliano Valdobbiadene lies in hilly countryside situated 50 km from Venice and around 100 km from the Dolomites. Mild climate, with an average temperature during the year of 12.3°C and constant breezes, allows the grapes to dry quickly after rains. Winemaking

The grapes are de-stemmed and soft pressed. The juice is then placed into temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks for 1st fermentation at low temperature for 10/15 days to preserve the fresh fruity flavors. Secondary fermentation is achieved through the Charmat method using a pressurised stainless-steel tanks along with selected yeasts to stimulate the production of natural bubbles in the wine. Finally the wine is bottled.

Tasting notes

Clear straw yellow, with greenish tinges; Its perlage is soft but persistent with a foamy feeling. Intense, fragrant and variegated, with notes of Golden apple and peach. Sweet fruit and vibrant acidity balance gracefully on the palate. Round, gentle finish with lingering notes of fresh fruit.

Food paring

Excellent with seafood, appetisers and light meals but it is also delicious on its own as an aperitif.
